RESIDENTIAL IRON FILTERS

Iron filters are great at removing iron from residential well water.

• Iron filters are used primarily to remove iron which is the red/organge/brown build-up that you see on your clothes, dishes and plumbing fixtures. 
• The oxidizing iron filters can remove H2S as well (rotten egg smell).
• The water generally needs a Ph above 6.8 for iron removal.
• Generally installs before water softener when water hardness is present a water softener would still be required.
